News-Press TV, LLC a cluster of television stations consisting of NBC, FOX, The CW, Telemundo and a 24/7 News and Weather channel in St. Joseph, MO, is accepting applications for a Commercial Producer. Duties include script writing, electronic field production, video postproduction and the ability to work closely with sales representatives and clients to produce commercials for television.
Qualified applicants should have a Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent and at least one year’s experience in video production. Familiarity with non-linear editing, computer graphics and animation programs preferred.
Applicant should possess above average mobility, i.e. climb ladders, carry equipment long distances; and the dexterity to facilitate on location field production without assistance and the capability to lift up to 50 pounds. A valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one is required. Candidate must pass a drug test and background check.
Demo tape and references are helpful at time of application, but must be made available upon request.
